MY EXPERIENCE

On Saturday, I went to follow SSEAP program in Aceh Community Center with my friend Rahma. I have prepared my self for the test. At 09 a clock the test will be start with knowledge test, and then at 10:15 we follow the next test with composition test. The commitee gave us the different topic that we should write it into paragraph. If I am not mistaken, I got the topic “the rule of the youth in promoting peace in Aceh”.

At 11:15 we have to submit the paper, then we should ready for the next test. We have 15 minutes for preparing our speech with the title based on the topic that we wrote into paragraph. I got the number 020. I am still waiting for my turn.

On 12 April 2008, at 11:50 the host called my number, “oh my god how can I speech in front of a lot of people that were looking at me” in my heart. When I get on the stage I get cold feet, my hands was cold. I was very nervous. Then I tray to make my self relax. After I said Salam I start my speech. At first I can speech easy but then I forget the word. So I often review the word that I have said before. I am still nervous until now to perform in front of public.
