As we know corruption has becomes a transnational crime. Corruption could greatly disrupt the country social, economic and political order. the government decided to make the anti-corruption program. This program handled by the attorney general’s office, police and also the corruption eradication commission (KPK).
The honesty canteen is a new anti corruption program that implicate the school. This program would teach the student the value of honesty and maintaining a praiseworthy character.
The honesty canteen is part of ongoing effort to instill the traits of honesty and truthfulness into young Indonesia; traits that are expected to play a pivotal role in preventing the future spread of corruption.
The honesty canteen sells food, drinks, snacks, and also writing book. The only important difference is that the honesty canteen has no staff. Not even one adult is in the canteen serving the students.
Each item for sale in canteen carries a price tag. Students can take any item they want and drop their money in payment box, from which they can also take their change.
If the student chooses to take some thing without paying, there no punishment, it is all about honesty and, certainly, dishonesty.
The aim of this program is to create a nation that is honest in character and to instill in the young generation the understanding that corruption.
